Navratri We had 40 amazing submissions for the Diya Decoration Contest today. Parents and teachers voted with great enthusiasm. The 2 winners will be announced on October 29th.

Attendance has been slim the last 2 Sundays and we request all parents to let the class teachers know as a courtesy when your children will not be attending class.

Highlights Of Today's Events

• Assembly learnt Shri GaNesh stuti (voice from Dipika aunty and music from Anju aunty) with great participation from the kids. As we return after Diwali, Anju aunty will continue 'Hey Sharde Ma'.
• Students learnt shlokas 5 & 6 from Chapter 12 of Shrimad Bhagvat Geeta. Praveen uncle explained the meaning of Manifest and Unmanifest forms of God.
• Students submitted Diyas for the competition. The 2 winners will be announced on October 29th.
• Student pictures were taken by Hament Patel, Jayesh Patel, Praveen Mehrotra, Gautam Khanna & Armaan Rochlani. A second of pictures will be taken on October 29th.
• The Vidyalaya High School Club was kicked off by Umesh Mittal.
• New student T-Shirts and bags were distributed
• C8 Students attended Yoga with Rama Akka.

CHILDREN ART CONTEST NAMI NJ-SAMHAJ (South Asian Mental Health Awareness in NJ) is organizing its 1st annual Art Contest "MIND MATTERS 2017" for Children and Teens 7-18 years. The art show and contest is being hosted at Artistic Kreations on Sunday, November 5th, 2017 followed by the prize distribution ceremony.
