Special school store held We held a special school store that featured cookies and self-serve toppings for them. It was a big hit as evidenced by the long line for the cookies. We are thankful to Mohini & Anand Shukla and Anita Patel for sponsoring this event and for helping to serve them in the school store.

Culture teachers seminar Our Culture teachers participated in a seminar this past Sunday, so we did not have the Culture classes. These seminars help bring about consistency in our teaching methods and improve our teaching materials and lesson plans. Thanks are due to Language teachers for covering and holding a long Language class.

Public Service Announcement We are including this relevant piece of information brought to our notice by Sanjay Khera, as we believe there are several families that may hold PIO cards for visiting India. If you or your child has a PIO (Person of Indian Origin) card issued from Govt of India, it is suggested to be converted to OCI card and the timeline for submission of the application to get OCI in lieu of PIO is 12/31/2016.
