Thanks a lot Everyone, for coming out in strength for our Navratri celebration. This was our first after-school event this year - it was so much fun. We started with offering prayers to Devi Maa - thank you Mukesh Bhai for always helping out with the Pooja and set Up; it was a festive atmosphere with kids and parents alike dancing together with traditional garba music. We switched to raas around mid-way and the scene changed to the rhythmic beat of the dandiyaas. People were dressed in colorful traditional outfits and the group danced away for close to an hour. Such opportunities of cultural immersion are invaluable to keep us close to the ways of our motherland. We ended the event with samosa, dhokla and jalebi - a sweet end to a fun event.

Thanks a lot to all the volunteers who came together to help with the setup and cleanup. Thanks to our young DJs Jahnvi and Shreya for awesome "mast" music.
