School Store We held a school store this past Sunday and the crowd around the store is a testament to the continued success of this initiative. Thanks to Arjun and Abhishek for manning the store. Dig out all your remaining Desi Bucks - we should have the last one about a month from now.

Holi celebration this coming Sunday

Hope you all are ready for another boisterous Vidyalaya Holi session!! We will have Holi celebration on April 30th after school, starting at 12 noon. We will play colors on the school grounds, details will be given on Sunday during the assembly.

*** Important: We will need 8-10 volunteers for Holi, please see Anurag Rochlani or Shalini Mehrotra after the prayer session for helping out.

What to wear and what to expect?

Vidyalaya provides everyone with Holi colors. Wear something light colored, so that your holi colors stand out. Sometimes we see water bazookas - hope you are ready...Carrying a towel to protect your car seat later on is recommended. We will serve light refreshments compliments of Vidyalaya. Bring your game face on - HOLI HAI!!

Enrollment open for Orators Academy public speaking class

Enrollment is open for "Orators Academy" - an interactive, fun and practical course on public speaking skills taught by our very own Vineeta Khanna aka Vicky of EBC radio fame. Vineeta has been teaching public speaking skills for several years now, visit her website www.OratorAcademy.com for more details. She has graciously offered to host this after-school enrichment class at the Orators Academy venue in Livingston.

Course is open to students age 9 years and above; classes will be held for three Sundays (April 30, May 7, May 14) from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM in Livingston. The participating students will get a chance to MC at the annual event as well. This is a unique opportunity to encourage your kids to learn this important life skill and gain self-confidence.Over a hundred Vidyalaya students have already benefited from these classes.

We are charging a nominal fee of $30 for this course to encourage serious participation. Spots are limited to keep the class to a manageable size, so hurry and send an email with the student's name and age to SPA@Vidyalaya.org to register.

Admissions - Early Registration discount ended on April 23rd. Admissions with regular fees are ongoing. For those families who have not yet registered, kindly print the forms and submit with fees to admission desk or send by postal mail.
