T-shirts for students We distributed the annual gift for our students, Vidyalaya t-shirts, last Sunday. If you have not recieved them yet, please collect them this Sunday from Sunil Gudhka/distribution booth in the cafetaria.

End of the year assembly @ 9:30 This coming Sunday will be the last school day of the year. All families are required to join us this Sunday in the prayer assembly at 9:30. We will have the end of the year presentation starting around 9:45. This assembly is about recognizing and thanking all of our volunteers who made this school year successful. We need active participation of all parents and students to make this meaningful.

Parent meeting @ 10:30 - curriculum agenda

All parents are invited to join us at 10:30AM in the cafetorium to discuss the language classes for next year.

Over the past several months, several language teachers have volunteered substantial amount of their time to design detailed weekly lesson plans for the language classes. These plans incorporate the specific guidelines provided by ACTFL as well as by Vidyalaya curriculum (accredited by the Parsippany Board of Education). We’re very excited to share these developments and are seeking additional volunteers who can help us in building the supporting material for the plans.

These lesson plans have been outlined with an eye towards providing a smoother transition between various levels and to ensure that students remain engaged and interested in the material. Additionally, the classes will be structured to provide the best of both the Oral and Reading/Writing tracks.

We’ll be providing a glimpse into the outlines and course material, and will be available for answering any questions you may have regarding these developments.

Language Lesson Planning Team

Sign up for Picnic day Cricket teams Sport Club leads Mohit Shah and Gautam Khanna are looking for participants to form two Cricket teams for a match on Vidyalaya picnic day. Please let Mohit or Gautam know if you are interested. No prior knowledge of game is necessary (coaching will be available prior to game-day).

Admissions Regular Admissions for 2017-18 session will close on coming Sunday, 6/11/2017. Any admissions forms recieved after 6/11/2017 will be accepted subject to availability and a late fee of $25.
