Vidyalaya is proud to host a Debate Club for students in grade 7 through 12 from February to May 2015 after school for one hour. This class will be run by two of Vidyalaya's alumni, Kevin Mittal and Shivam Agarwal. It is anticipated to be a very educational and an entertaining session and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Thanks to those who have shown an interest in participating in this club. Due to inclement weather, our parent meetings that were scheduled for the past Sunday have been postponed to February 1st. Please refer to the flyer for further details. Email spa@vidyalaya.org if you are interested in enrolling your child(ren) in this club. The fee per student will be $30 for the entire session.

Lohri/Pongal
We had another lively edition of our harvest festival celebrations this past Sunday. Rituals, festivities and food from South India for Pongal and from North India for Lohri came together in the melting pot culture of Vidyalaya. Traditional folk songs and dances made the event come alive. Kids participated enthusiastically in the coloring contest; we will announce the winner on the coming Sunday. Such events require a lot of help from a lot of dedicated volunteers and we are very appreciative of all their help. Some thanks are in order:
