Orators R Us - Public speaking course

Vidyalaya is pleased to announce the sixth edition of our popular initiative - "Orators R Us" - an interactive, fun and practical course on public speaking skills taught by our very own Vineeta Khanna aka Vicky of EBC radio fame. Please see the flyer for more.

Course is open to students age 10 years and above; classes will be held for three Sundays starting May 3, 2015 from 11:45 to 12:45 PM in the School Cafeteria. The participating students will get a chance to MC at the annual event as well. This is a unique opportunity to encourage your kids to learn this important life skill and gain self-confidence.

We are charging a nominal fee of $30 for this course to ensure serious participation. Spots are limited to keep the class to a manageable size, so hurry and send an email to AnuragRochlani@gmail.com to register.

Annual Event

We are in need of some materials and props to decorate the stage for the show on May 17th. If you can provide any of the following for us to use, please email spa@vidyalaya.org. Materials:

1. Sarees
2. Large, cloth murals, paintings or pictures
3. Any props related to a jungle theme: trees, animals cutouts, vines, etc.

If you have a talent that you want to showcase outside of your Language class item, we have some limited spots available for it. For such performances, we will need a minimum of 3 student performers and you will get approx. 2.5 minutes for it. Please reach out to Mahendra Patel for this or send an email SPA.

Yearbook

If your kids want to contribute an article to the annual Yearbook, please have them send the article, typed and no more than 200 words, to vps@vidyalaya.us, by May 9th

Pictures

Please note that we will be taking make-up pictures this weekend for those children/volunteers who did not get their individual pictures taken earlier.

Admission 2015

Early discount for Admissions ended last Sunday, 4/26. Regular admission fees applies for any further registrations. Admission forms have been sent to your email address on file. Please print, fill up, and deliver them to the admission team along with proper fees, or send them by postal mail. Admission process for 2015-16 can be found by clicking here.
