Holi Pictures

Thanks to all of you who came out in strength to celebrate Holi this past Sunday. The sun was out and so was your festive spirit, making it another fun-filled edition of our Vidyalaya Holi tradition. Appreciate the well-behaved manner in which we used the school grounds - there was no property defacing and very little in the way of litter.

A lot of volunteers came together to make this event happen - from logistics of getting the colors from India, to preparing the color packets this past Sunday, to making a quick dash to the store when some supplies ran short, to food service and color packets distribution. Not to forget setup and cleanup. Special thanks to our young volunteers Anisha and Arjun for setting up the Desi bucks store and helping throughout with the event. Not mentioning all the volunteer names here as they are too numerous, but do know that we appreciate all your help. Holi would not be possible without your help and enthusiastic participation.

Orators R Us - Public speaking course

Vidyalaya is pleased to announce the sixth edition of our popular initiative - "Orators R Us" - an interactive, fun and practical course on public speaking skills taught by our very own Vineeta Khanna aka Vicky of EBC radio fame. Please see the flyer for more.

Course is open to students age 10 years and above; classes will be held for three Sundays starting April 26th from 11:45 to 12:45 PM in the School Cafeteria. The participating students will get a chance to MC at the annual event as well. This is a unique opportunity to encourage your kids to learn this important life skill and gain self-confidence.

We are charging a nominal fee of $30 for this course to ensure serious participation. Spots are limited to keep the class to a manageable size, so hurry and send an email to AnuragRochlani@gmail.com to register.

Annual Event

If you have a talent that you want to showcase outside of your Language class item, we have some limited spots available for it. For such performances, we will need a minimum of 3 student performers and you will get approx. 2.5 minutes for it. Please reach out to Mahendra Patel for this or send an email SPA.

Yearbook

If your kids want to contribute an article to the annual Yearbook, please have them send the article, typed and no more than 200 words, to vps@vidyalaya.us, by May 9th

Please note that we will be taking make-up pictures this weekend for those children/volunteers who did not get their individual pictures taken earlier.

Admission 2015

Coming Sunday is the last day to avail early registration discount. Please hand over the printed, filled up form and fee check to the admissions team this Sunday. If mailing, please mail it ASAP so it reaches by this Sunday.

Admission forms have been sent to your email address on file. Please print, fill up, and deliver them to the admission team along with proper fees, or send them by postal mail. Admission process for 2015-16 can be found by clicking here.
