Santa Visits Vidyalaya: It was a special day on Sunday as the students were treated with a visit from Santa and a chocolate treat. Special thanks to Mahendra Patel and family for making the time to come by and provide some fun times for the young and the young at heart.

Volunteers Social: We held our second annual volunteer social this past Sunday. Close to 50 volunteers participated in this successful event. Teachers and other volunteers had a good bonding time in an informal setting without the kids, which is very hard to accomplish during the usual school time.

Bollywood music set the tone for party time. We played antakshari and it was great to see the singing and "quick thinking" talent in Vidyalaya. We had a live dosa station catered by Mysore woodlands restaurant, which was a big hit and was appreciated by all. A separate room was set up for the kids and some volunteers kept them busy while their parents enjoyed the event. Thanks for coming out in strength for the social; such events are key to bring us together as one big happy Vidyalaya family.
