Enrollment open for Orators Academy public speaking class

We are now enrolling for our 5th annual public speaking classes, Orators Academy. Our cherished volunteer and ex-Vidyalaya mom Vineeta Khanna teaches this class. Vineeta has been hosting a show "Coffee tea and me with Vicky" on EBC radio for over 10 years. She is also a renowned MC who has hosted shows in huge venues like Nassau Colisseum and PNC Bank Arts Center. This is an after-school enrichment class (11:50 AM - 12:50 PM) to be held on three Sundays (Apr 17, May 1, May 8). It is open for students age 9 years and older. There is a nominal fees of $30 to encourage serious participation. Please send an email with the student name and age to SPA@Vidyalaya.org to register for it.

Admissions 2016-17 It is that time of the year! We will be initiating the admission process for the next year very soon. Please keep an eye in your inbox for further communication regarding admissions.

Sports Club

We played Carrom this Sunday and Mohit coached students on the basics of the game. This was our second time playing Carrom. We also played "break the pyramid" game for the first time and the kids loved it. This game was good target practice for the game of "Sitoliya" or "Seven Tiles" that we will be playing in the coming weeks as well.

Art contest for Mela Brochure

We announced a new art contest today; for the Mela this year we are looking for some arts/crafts from our students that we would use as the background image or cover page for the brochure. The theme of the Mela is "India's contributions to the world", it would be great if your drawings/art/craftwork was along the same lines. We invite all students to submit the artwork on 8.5x11 size paper(max) to Anurag or Asmita; we will select a couple of your submission to showcase on the brochure.

Spring break - school closed on Apr 10th

Note that the school is OPEN on coming two Sundays, Mar 27th and Apr 3rd. As we are aligned with Parsippany school district for spring break, school will be closed on Apr 10th.
