Pongal/Lohri Contest. All students are reminded to bring in your colored pictures for the coloring contest. Please submit one of the following ( One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six ) coloring pages.

Lohri and Pongal Festivities: February 7: All Vidyalaya families are invited to celebrate North and South Indian festivals (details). We will have Rangolis, stage decorations, special ceremonies, dancing to the dhol and traditional food items to sample. Please dress traditionally. We will also sing lohri song and pongal song together. Students who dress in North or South Indian outfits will receive a Desi Buck.

Yoga classes for Adults: Extra Yoga class will be offered at 11:00am (in addition to the 10am class) for adults through June 12th, 2016. All Language teachers are invited to join us. This class will be taught by Rama Akka, who is a certified Yoga Instructor, and the fees will be $25 for the session.
