KG-C, C1 through C4 are invited to attend the Diwali Art Activity in the Cafeteria on Oct. 24th. Please bring an old CD and any decorative items you may have at home, if possible (e.g. paints, gems, stickers, glitter glue, etc). Other items will be provided at school.

Garba Thanks a lot folks, for coming out in strength for our Navratri celebration. This was our first after-school event this year - it was very successful and a lot of fun. We started with offering prayers to Devi Maa; it was a festive atmosphere with kids and parents alike dancing together with traditional garba music. We switched to raas around mid-way and the scene changed to the rhythmic beat of the dandiyaas. People were dressed in colorful traditional outfits and the group danced away for over an hour. Such opportunities of cultural immersion are invaluable to keep us close to the ways of our motherland. We ended the event with samosa, khaman dhokla and jalebi - a sweet end to a fun event.

Thanks a lot to all the volunteers who came together to help with the setup and cleanup, too many to name here. Thanks Jagruti for sending in the music. Many thanks to Pradeep, Mahendra, Sangita, Mukesh Bhai and Shamee for helping with the food distribution and Asmita, Pradeep and Mahendra for picking it up. And finally, thanks to Shalini to coordinating the event and putting all the pieces together before the event, as she could not be there for it.
