Volunteers needed: We need a team of volunteers to join our Facilities team to help us with building management tasks. One volunteer is needed to stand by the Cafeteria doors from 9:30am to 10:00am each Sunday. You may rotate with other volunteers on the team if you are unable to attend each week. If you are available during the assembly time and/or are willing to serve on our Facilities team in general, please email Anurag as soon as possible.

Halloween Celebration: Nov. 1 All students, teachers and parents may dress up in their Halloween costumes this Sunday, Nov. 1st. Students will receive one DesiBuck if they are wearing a costume. We recommend that you find creative ways to represent Indian characters or themes in your costumes, but it is not a requirement. We strongly discourage everyone from bringing weapons of any kind even if they are part of the costume. Masks should not be worn during assembly or class time. Please help us make this a fun and safe Halloween celebration at Vidyalaya.

Diwali Art Activity: Oct. 25 Students from KG-Culture through Culture 4 participated in the Diwali art project during their culture class time. The project this year was to make "Diya" out of play-dough and to make a decorative coaster by reusing a CD, to keep the Diya. The cafeteria hall hummed with activity and excitement as the students channeled their inner artists to turn out beautiful and colorful project work. Pictures will be posted on Vidyalaya Facebook. Thanks a lot to the following volunteers who helped with the preparation and setup - Malini Arora, Rajesh Koppa, Rajeev Jaggi, Anisha Mittal, Neelam Trivedi and Praveen Mehrotra. Special thanks to KG and culture teachers who helped the students all throughout to make the event successful.
